"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I'm working on a new project. Max Jensen gave me the idea to do a trio of characters; they devour mind, body, and soul, respectively. I just finished the pencils of the mindeater tonight, I should have it posted by tomorrow, and I'll be working on the other two. Then, once all the pencils are done (and hopefully some criticism received), it'll be on to digital painting to finish them up.
Sorry I didn't make it, the last month or so has gone crazy with a lot of different things, most of it dealing with school, but then with moving, money, etc. Glad to hear it was a blast though.
